“I was deeply honored to have a networking opportunity named in my honor by NOTSL. Networking is a skill necessary to lift your career to the next level. I encourage you to apply for up to $1000 to pay for any in-person professional development opportunity that you have been eyeing. If you have attended a NOTSL meeting recently, remotely or in person, you qualify. Surely you have a conference or training event in mind where you can exercise your networking skills. The deadline has been extended to September 30, 2026.

To be eligible, applicants must have attended a NOTSL meeting in the past 12 months. The award must be used for a face-to-face professional development opportunity and must be used within 1 year of acceptance.

As part of the application, you will need to include the total amount requested. You will also need to share which event you hope to attend and answer a few questions about what you hope to learn. Award recipients are required to provide a report summarizing the experience.

The submission deadline is September 30, 2026, and recipients will be notified no later than October 12, 2026.
