Join the Archives Management Section on Thursday, March 12 at 12:00 PM Eastern / 11:00 AM Central, for a panel discussion titled: Managing the Next Generation: Student Workers and Archival Leadership Today.

In this conversation, archival administrators will discuss how they navigate and manage the modern student worker, the practicum student, and fellows. Panelists will consider the complex nature of undergraduates who-at times-are also navigating their first job, learning how to "show up," and simultaneously managing the pressures of college life. Finally, the panel will discuss the qualities of the modern archival workplace, including mentorship, communication, flexibility, and care. Administrators can foster environments that support student workers while providing meaningful support for the next generation of archival professionals. This event is free and open to all!
