     *   The Electronic Resources Access Librarian will support Ohio University teaching, learning, and research activities by effectively managing the lifecycle of the Libraries’ electronic resources collections, which include subscription databases, online journals, eBooks, and open access options. Managing the e-resources lifecycle includes overseeing and participating in the investigation, purchase, activation, evaluation, and maintenance of electronic resource access through the Libraries. The position maintains seamless access for OU community members through library systems and third-party services such as integrated library systems (ILS), discovery services, link resolvers, proxy servers, electronic resource management systems (ERM), and relevant knowledge bases. The position will lead e-resource related projects and routine troubleshooting processes within the Libraries’ Acquisitions department.

     *   The target salary for this position is $52,000 to $59,000 and is commensurate with the selected candidate’s education and experience while considering internal equity.

     *   Reporting to the Head of Research Services, the Scholarly Impact Librarian provides scholarly impact support to Ohio University researchers, helping them analyze and articulate their research impact using both traditional and alternative metrics, assisting with the promotion of their scholarly output, providing guidance on open access publishing models, and offering training and guidance for supported research tools. Additionally, the Scholarly Impact Librarian will provide instruction, reference, and consultation services to faculty and students. The librarian will help build sustainable collections that support the University’s research and instructional needs in a team environment.

     *   Reporting to the Head of Research Services, the Data Services Librarian supports Ohio University students and faculty in discovering, using, and managing data for their research. The Data Services Librarian provides leadership and expertise in research data management (RDM), data literacy concepts, and open research practices in support of Ohio University’s research mission. The Data Services Librarian builds and maintains relationships with academic departments and research centers to coordinate and scale research data services across campus. This position will provide instruction, workshops, outreach, and individualized research support for faculty, researchers, and graduate students, as well as data literacy and other fundamental support for undergraduates. The position works proactively with researchers on data-intensive projects, providing guidance on institutional and funder compliance, data quality, documentation, sharing, and long-term stewardship. The Data Services Librarian contributes to scholarly communication initiatives such as open data and reproducible research, including considerations of data quality, ethics, transparency, and governance, as well as tools related to data management.
