Subject: [External] Handle with Care: Bringing Conservation into the Digitization Process

Hi all,

I wanted to share an upcoming webinar from the Conservation Center for Art & Historic Artifacts. (It's free to attend, so hopefully this doesn't count as solicitation!)

I'm the Digital Archives Specialist at CCAHA, and I'll be co-presenting with paper conservator Chloe Houseman on how conservation can play a larger role in digitization projects. We'll cover what you can safely handle as a digitization technician, how best to handle it, and when to call in a trained conservator.

The live session will be on October 28 at noon EST, with plenty of time for Q&A. A recording will be posted afterwards on the CCAHA YouTube channel.
