Ohio History Fund Grants Announced
Hello Janet,

Ohio History Fund<https://ohiohistory.us14.list-manage.com/track/click?u=37ce5c8c24208a588c681edc5&id=8ade8e5dda&e=baef517f22> grant recipients for 2024 were announced on March 1, the 221st anniversary of Ohio statehood.

The Ohio History Fund supports projects across the state. This year, there are 14 recipients, and they received a total of $187,600. This includes initiatives to conserve the knee brace of Superbowl quarterback Joe Namath (Canton), refurbish and relight Mid-Century Ohio street signs (Cincinnati), and the repair cupolas on a historic dairy barn (Athens).

Ohio History Fund grants happen because of you. Here's how you can continue to help:

  *   Donate: Look for "Ohio History Fund" on line 26d of your state tax return<https://ohiohistory.us14.list-manage.com/track/click?u=37ce5c8c24208a588c681edc5&id=92e31634d4&e=baef517f22> and designate a dollar amount. That's it! The average donation is around $12-but feel free to be above average! The more we all give this year, the more grants the Ohio History Fund makes next year.
  *   Promote the tax check-off to colleagues and friends. It's an easy way to show your support for Ohio's local history.
  *   Act now: Many who donate file returns by the April 15 deadline. Much of the money the Ohio History Fund grants comes in during tax season.
