Subject: Call for CONTENTdm webinar proposals
As you likely know, OCLC has decided to cancel this year’s CONTENTdm User Group meeting. As COVID-19 concerns continue, our primary goal is to help ensure the health and safety of meeting participants and staff.
Although we will miss interacting with our vibrant CONTENTdm community in person, we are excited to announce that we are creating a series of virtual CONTENTdm Community Insight sessions based on community feedback.
Since you’ve attended CONTENTdm User Group meetings in the past, you know that innovative work is being done at so many institutions using CONTENTdm. We would like to enlist your aid in identifying work worth sharing, especially at your institution.
Do you have an idea or topic that you would like to present? This is your chance to share your experiences with the community on topics such as:
· Metadata maintenance
· Managing themed collections (e.g. COVID-19)
· Creating collections to support organizational or educational needs
· Customizing your CONTENTdm site
Other topics are also welcome.
Last year, many attendees said their favorite part was the variety of sessions, so we encourage you to be creative and fill out our proposal submission form<http://click.e.oclc.org/?qs=e4f9f60968f3c32f50cbdd33b327389287c22ea00b649f680a1683f3e459cc1a105a0d87ad67e6876e1035792f172c5f> by 3 July 2020.
If you have questions, feel free to reach out to me.
Thank you for your kind attention.
Eric
