Plan now to attend Wearing Different Hats: the 2018 OLC Technical Services Retreat, held March 28-29 at the Nationwide Hotel and Conference Center in North Columbus, Ohio. Keynote Terry Reese, Head of Digital Initiatives at the Ohio State University Libraries, will take a closer look at the consequences of complacency in his session entitled "Making the Choice to Be Relevant: Open Systems, Open Communications."
Join your colleagues for this biennial educational event that strikes the perfect balance between the big picture and focused, practical topics. The 2018 retreat will explore the many roles of technical services staff and will cover a variety of topics including eclectic collections, project management, ILS acquisitions modules, local heritage collections, ethical considerations, and much more. The retreat also includes an evening event and a tour of OCLC.
Session descriptions are available on the OLC website at http://olc.org/blog/event/technical-services-retreat/
