Hi Amy,

LYRASIS offers digital and preservation classes and consulting.
https://www.lyrasis.org/services/Pages/Consulting.aspx

We work with these kinds of projects all the time.

I will have one of our consultants (Tom Clareson, who is in Ohio) follow up with the folks at Capital and see if we can help.

Best wishes,

I received an inquiry from Capital University's library about assistance with planning a digitization project. Do any of you do project planning and consultation, or can you recommend someone? Here's a brief description of the project from Rachel Rubin, Director of Library and Information Services:

"Capital University is just beginning to think about the digitization and preservation of our archives, photographs, and publications. A scanner was recently purchased, but before we put the cart before the horse we will need assistance evaluating the collection and creating a scope and plan for a comprehensive digitization initiative."

Thanks in advance,
Amy
