About Statelib	English (USA)
Statelib is a moderated mailing list for state of Ohio employees of executive, judicial, and legislative branches, and state level agencies, departments, boards and commissions. The purpose of the listserv is to provide state government employees with up-to-date information on the State Library of Ohio's programs, services, collections, and activities. Some examples of statelib content include: * Practical research tips and updates on topic guides from professional librarians highlighting resources available only to state level employees * Listings of new books, ebooks, and audiobooks * News and information about library databases * News and information about using the library Who can subscribe? Because most of the services discussed on statelib are restricted to state level employees, only state level employees with valid state employee email addresses may subscribe. Local government employees are encouraged to subscribe to the ohlib listserv for library news and events, job openings, training opportunities, and other items of interest to residents and Ohio's library community. Submitting Content: Research Services and Marketing & Communications staff members at the State Library of Ohio are the primary contributors to statelib. If you have a message or information you would like to have included on statelib, submit your message directly to the list as instructed below. Using Statelib
To post a message to all the list members, send email to statelib@lists.library.ohio.gov. You can subscribe to the list, or change your existing subscription, in the sections below.
Subscribing to Statelib
Subscribe to Statelib by filling out the following form. You will be sent email requesting confirmation, to prevent others from gratuitously subscribing you. Once confirmation is received, your request will be held for approval by the list moderator. You will be notified of the moderator's decision by email. This is also a hidden list, which means that the list of members is available only to the list administrator. Your email address:   Your name (optional):   You may enter a privacy password below. This provides only mild security, but should prevent others from messing with your subscription. Do not use a valuable password as it will occasionally be emailed back to you in cleartext. If you choose not to enter a password, one will be automatically generated for you, and it will be sent to you once you've confirmed your subscription.
