About C2C
Ohio Connecting to Collections is a discussion list for library, museum, and history organization staff interested in preservation and conservation issues.
The Ohio Connecting to Collections project is a part of the national initiative, Connecting to Collections: A Call to Action begun by the Institute of Museum and Library Services (IMLS). The State Library of Ohio, in partnership with the Ohio Historical Society and the Ohio Museums Association, was awarded an IMLS planning grant and an implementation grant for the Ohio Connecting to Collections initiative. This project begins to address the lack of care and preservation of Ohio's cultural heritage. The C2C listserv was developed for library, museum, and history organization staff as a discussion forum for sharing information, best practices, and educational opportunities as well as to encourage collaboration among Ohio's cultural heritage institutions.
