<p class="MsoNormal"><span style="font-size:11.0pt">Ohio’s businesses play a vital role in the economy of our state and throughout its history have contributed to innovation and the growth of communities. Products and services of Ohio’s businesses impact our
daily life, whether through creation of consumer goods, advancement of research and engineering, or barbershop conversations and company social gatherings. This Archives Month we’re celebrating businesses with Ohio origins and photographs that depict a few
of the ways they’ve enriched our lives individually and collectively.<o:p></o:p></span></p>

<p class="MsoNormal"><span style="font-size:11.0pt">1. Good Humor ice cream bars were invented and first manufactured in Youngstown, OH, by confectioner Harry B. Burt. Burt was also known for being among the first to utilize the ice cream truck as a marketing
strategy.<o:p></o:p></span></p>
