form of a "how to" with real world examples. It will cover the DC elements, how each field is used and provides flexibility, and how it is interpreted differently by different institutions. <o:p></o:p></span></p>

</span><span style="color:#202124;background:white">This short presentation will outline a pilot project conducted by Metadata Initiatives staff members where a sampling of metadata in the Digital Collections was reviewed with respect to EDI concerns as we
explored what respectful remediation may look like. It covers the results of the pilot project, limitations, as well as recommendations for short and long term metadata remediation based on these findings and current literature.</span><span style="color:#202124"><o:p></o:p></span></p>
