<p class="MsoNormal"><span style="mso-ligatures:none">I’m writing to ask you to share the attached information about the Ohio History Service Corps with anyone you may know (such as upcoming and recent graduates) who might be interested in the opportunity to
serve for a year in a history/museum/archives-related AmeriCorps program. <o:p></o:p></span></p>

<p class="MsoNormal"><span style="mso-ligatures:none">The Ohio History Service Corps is an AmeriCorps program whose members provide capacity-building services to local history organizations. Serving with the Ohio History Service Corps can be a chance to grow
as a public historian by putting into practice the skills learned at college or in graduate school. It’s also a great introduction to the local history community in Ohio and an excellent way to create a network for future opportunities. Members receive a living
stipend and are eligible for an education award equal to the amount of the Pell grant to cover future tuition or to pay off qualified student loans.
