<p class="MsoNormal">Diagram will help those responsible for digital archives to understand the risks their holdings face, explore ways to mitigate those risks and see the effect on risk levels. It will also help communicate these findings to budget holders
 and other stakeholders by providing data for inclusion in business cases or similar documentation. The model has been built by a partnership of British archives and statisticians at the University of Warwick.<o:p></o:p></p>

<p class="MsoNormal">This presentation will provide summarize a collaborative effort to revise the Guidelines for Efficient Archival Processing in the University of California Libraries, including an overview of how baseline guidelines on born-digital appraisal,
 accessioning, and processing were integrated into the system-wide document. Presenters will discuss the challenges of weaving born-digital stewardship advice throughout a document geared toward paper processing, and how the newly published revised version
 can support the effort to operationalize born-digital work across the UC Libraries and beyond.<o:p></o:p></p>
