<span style="color:#0563C1">AVP</span></a> are pleased to announce the release of a public white paper reporting on the outcomes of a planning project and workshop conducted in Fall 2017 to explore design and development of an open source software platform
to support mass description of audiovisual content. This proposed system, known as AMP, is intended to utilize automated mechanisms linked together with human labor in a recursive and reflexive workflow to generate and manage metadata at scale for libraries
and archives. This work was generously supported by a grant from the Andrew W. Mellon Foundation.<o:p></o:p></p>
