As the summer begins to wind down and we look ahead to cooler days, we invite you to register for the Mid-Atlantic Regional Archives Conference's Virtual Fall Conference!
Archives Adapting to a Changing World's fourth virtual conference, will highlight the innovations and adaptations happening in archival work. Conference speakers will address a wide variety of topics including community relationship building, advocacy, oral histories, description, workplace staffing, audiovisual collections, and more. As always, our MARAC colleagues hold riches of wisdom to share, and we are excited to learn alongside one another. We will collectively explore what is possible when we bring new ideas, new insights, and courage to our work.
Get ready for three days (October 28-30) of learning with educational sessions, a plenary, virtual tours, virtual posters, vendor sessions and our MARAC Membership meeting. You can access it all from work, your home office, or a cozy and comfortable spot of your choosing. There will also be informal gathering time to get to know your colleagues during a breakfast social and a trivia session!
October 28: Plenary, caucus meetings, vendor talks, virtual tour hosts Q&A
October 29: Breakfast networking, sessions, vendor talks, and the MARAC membership meeting
October 30: Poster session Q & A, vendor talks, and seasonal trivia session
