Impresso Seminar 2026 and Conference on Radio and Newspapers Program
Dear colleagues,

This spring, the Impresso project continues its series of online lunch seminars dedicated to current research in computational media history. As in the fall 2025 season, we invite colleagues to present their ongoing work for 30 minutes, followed by 30 minutes of discussion with the Impresso team and interested attendees.

"Radio and Newspapers: What Intersections for Media History?"

The “Radio and Newspapers: What Intersections for Media History” conference will take place in Lausanne on June 30 and July 1st, 2026, and will bring together specialists in media history and digital humanities. It will consist of some twenty-three peer-reviewed conference papers, and will feature a keynote lecture by Siân Nicholas (Aberystwyth University) entitled “Intermediality in Wartime: Towards an Integrated History of the British Press and the BBC in WW2”

The conference is free of charge, but registration is required. The conference takes place in person in Lausanne. For those unable to attend, it will be possible to follow the conference online, but not to interact with participants on site.
