[Ohiodig] Book scanner and/or DAM recommendations

Hello OhioDIG wisdom,

We are in the process of exploring options for potentially procuring replacements for our current book scanner and DAM system, and while I'm currently doing some research with respect to both, I was wondering if anyone on the list might have any recommendations for one or either of these items? If so, please feel free to contact me directly!

For the DAM, we're not in need of a system that is primarily a digital preservation repository, as we already maintain a separate preservation repository. We're rather looking for a system that facilitates more straightforward DAM functions (file storage and organization, description, format conversions, access/delivery, etc.) for digital assets that are not within the scope of our digital preservation framework but that we still wish to maintain and actively manage.

(We're not certain if either one of these will ultimately materialize - the DAM system especially - but we'd like to have some recommendations to put forward to our administrators if/when the time comes).
