Help us make our rare and unique library collections discoverable online
for students and scholars at the University of Dayton and beyond! As the
Digitization Assistant you will support scanning, digital file preparation,
and metadata entry as part of the Libraries’ digitization and digital
preservation initiatives.

Reporting to the Digitization Services Manager, you will enhance digital
access to distinctive holdings from our Marian Library, Archives and
Special Collections. You will contribute to daily digitization operations,
including carrying out quality-controlled scanning workflows, adding
metadata to support discovery, processing files for long-term preservation,
and training student employees on scanning and image editing.

This is a full-time, 35-hour-per-week staff position. In addition to a
rewarding work environment, the University of Dayton provides an excellent
benefits package, including tuition remission for employees and their
immediate family members, paid holidays (including the week between
Christmas and New Year's Day), and accrued vacation time. Learn more about
the position and apply today!
