Hi all, with the usual apologies for cross-posting,

Registration for SMIRC 2026 is now open! Visit https://lib.usm.edu/smirc/irregister.html to register for the conference. Registration remains free for the main conference and includes a light breakfast and lunch for in-person attendees on April 24.

We are also bringing back the SMIRC pre-conference this year! This year, the pre-conference workshops will also be open to virtual attendees. There is a nominal registration fee of $25 per workshop or $60 for all three pre-conference workshops for virtual attendees. The pre-conference registration fee will be waived for in-person attendees. The pre-conference schedule is available at https://lib.usm.edu/smirc/irabstracts.html.

As a reminder, the fee above applies ONLY to virtual pre-conference participants. We remain committed to keeping the main conference entirely free for all attendees, whether in-person or virtual, thanks to the generous support of our conference sponsors.
