Subject: EXT: Title II Urban Legends
Hi everyone,
During our last monthly meeting, we started a new blog based upon some experiences we shared related to Title II enforcement at our respective institutions. This post will share some "Title II Urban Legends<https://docs.google.com/document/d/1VwlkY-XitkiPrZ81AAebaX3W9s9xvVKCOjdjUCRKFV0/edit?usp=sharing>" (thanks to Karen Grondin for the name) we've encountered during as the April deadline looms near. We thought it'd be a bit of much-needed, productive fun to compile them into a post and provide correct answers to these misconceptions, myths, and half-truths about accessibility that have become prevalent as people scramble to make changes. If you'd like to share some urban legends of your own, please feel free to add them. If you'd like to explain why a particular falsehood is wrong or link to some sources/resources that are relevant, please feel free to do that as well. When you do so, please add your name and preferred credit in brackets so you can be credited in the final post. Please finalize your edits by March 13th. I will be submitting the post the following week. Let me know if you have any questions or feedback!
Best regards,
