[Ohiodig] NOTSL Margaret Maurer Professional Networking Award accepting applications

Applications for the 2026 Margaret Maurer Professional Networking Award are now being accepted. The NOTSL Awards Committee will determine the recipient of this award, which will not exceed $1,000.
The Margaret Maurer Professional Networking Award recognizes the value of lifelong learning, professional engagement, and leadership within the library profession, helping recipients to expand their expertise, network with peers, and bring innovative practices back to their workplaces.
Applicants must be a member of NOTSL to be considered. Recipients may use awarded funds to attend conferences, workshops, training, and professional meetings directly related to library services, management, technology, or information science.
Applicants must submit a detailed proposed budget for the activity or event, along with a short essay describing how the event will strengthen their professional network and enhance their workplace. Upon completion, award recipients are required to provide a report summarizing their experience.
Awarded funds must be used within 1 year of acceptance.
The deadline for submissions is September 8, 2026, and recipients will receive notification no later than October 12, 2026.
