it's a combination bagger and ingest tool, but DART is useful (pretty sure it'd go under cross-platform GUI): https://aptrust.org/documentation-page/dart-digital-archivists-resource-tool/

in my own day-to-day i'm often using linux/mac command line, which has core utilities including command line tools md5sum, sha1sum, sha256sum, etc.

Hi all-

Sharing out a list of fixity tools that John Dewees and I are putting together for a writing project that might be of interest for the one question yesterday (and feel free to send along others that you may use and we'll add them to the list!)

Command-line

    Library of Congress BagIt (Java)- https://github.com/LibraryOfCongress/bagit-java
    Library of Congress BagIt (Python)- https://github.com/LibraryOfCongress/bagit-python

Cross-platform GUI

    NARA File Analyzer- https://github.com/usnationalarchives/File-Analyzer
    AVPreserve Fixity- https://www.weareavp.com/services/
    Library of Congress Bagger- https://github.com/LibraryOfCongress/bagger
    Quickhash- https://www.quickhash-gui.org/

Windows GUI

    FileVerifier++- https://sourceforge.net/projects/fileverifier/
    MD5summer- https://www.md5summer.org/
    Microsoft File Checksum Integrity Verifier- https://archive.org/details/FCIV_v2_05

Mac GUI

    checkSum+- https://julifos.com/soft/checksum/

Also- on the topic of bots, we have also had crazy bot traffic on our IR this past year. The one weird aside looking at Google Analytics is that chatgpt is now one of the top 5 referral sites for our IR, pushing out DPLA sadly!
