Darek Paradowski
Darek Paradowski has been dealing with all aspects of digitalization since its introduction in the National Library of Poland. In 2003 he created the concept of first digital assets management system in the library. He currently oversees upgrade of the system to 4th generation. Dariusz is the main author of the first Polish digitization textbook, head of IT Systems Lab at National Library and head of IFLA Preservation and Conservation Center Poland.

Long-term preservation using RODA and DBPTK
Luís Faria
Luís Faria, Research and Innovation Director at KEEP SOLUTIONS, has 17 years of experience in the research and development of solutions for digital preservation and information management. He holds a PhD in Computer Science with a specialization in Digital Preservation from the University of Minho. Luís has participated in several research and development projects, including SCAPE, E-ARK, 4C, and VeraPDF. He is a co-author of the preservation format specifications SIARD 2 and E-ARK IP, and he coordinates the open-source projects RODA and DBPTK. Additionally, he has contributed to CEF-funded programs such as EARK4ALL and EARK3, as well as the European Commission's eArchiving Initiative. Over the past decade, he has successfully implemented long-term preservation systems in public administration organizations across various European countries.

Global Tools, Local Trust: Long Term Preservation with Archivematica and Enduro
Justin Simpson
Justin Simpson is the Managing Director of Artefactual Systems, a Canadian company with a global customer base. He has spent 13 years collaborating with cultural memory institutions globally to design, develop, and implement digital access and preservation programs using open source software. He has contributed to the open source software developed by Artefactual, including Archivematica, Enduro, and AtoM. Born in Toronto, Canada, he now lives in Dumfries, Scotland.

Introducing Fedora - The flexible, modular, open-source repository platform for long-term digital preservation
Arran Griffith, Dan Field
Arran Griffith is the Fedora Program Manager. In her role, Arran leads program strategy and execution, facilitates collaboration between governance and community groups, and champions initiatives that support the sustainability and growth of Fedora worldwide. Prior to becoming Fedora’s Program Manager, Arran served as Fedora’s Community Outreach Coordinator before stepping into her current role in May 2022.
Along with her work Arran also facilitates several cross-community working groups that foster collaboration and maintain alignment between open-source technologies, and is one of the founding stakeholders of the AI Discussions Working Group. Her ability to connect users, and her collaborative approach to open-source program management has heightened engagement across the Fedora community as adoption rates rise and the community continues to grow.

Dan Field is the Fedora Program Developer. In his role, Dan is responsible for designing, testing and supporting Fedora, along with facilitating the distributed open-source development work of the volunteer Committers. He also works with the community to address their business needs and to provide technical support to users. Dan has worked with Fedora since the early 2000s and has worked on many large-scale cultural heritage documentary and audio-visual digitization projects.
In his spare time, Dan enjoys Ethical Hacking and has reported security issues to Big Tech companies such as Facebook, Yahoo and Slack. He recently spent 5 years working as a Reservist within the Royal Air Force as a Cyberspace Communication Specialist. Previously, Dan worked as Head of Software Development at the National Library of Wales in Aberystwyth where he received his Bachelor of Engineering degree in Software Engineering.

Long-Term Archives: Legal Aspects, storage platform current technologies and trends
Piotr Nogaś
Piotr Nogaś, Senior Solution Architect at Hewlett Packard Enterprise, with extensive expertise in architecture, enterprise security, infrastructure and compliance. Mr Nogaś has been responsible for key clients at Digital Equipment, EMC, IBM, VERITAS and Symantec co-architecting resilient and robust infrastructure projects as parish books digitalization and archive for Kuyavian-Pomeranian Voivodeship and „Herbarium Pomeranicum” a digitalization and sharing herbarium collections for the Pomeranian University in Słupsk, University of Gdańsk and the University of Szczecin.
He has experience of architecting Business Continuance, High Availability, Disaster Recovery, Cloud and AI for highly regulated sectors while staying within schedule and budget.
