Besides reviewing program goals, we'll outline how you can participate and share ideas for successful and easy-to-plan OOD events.
Ohio Open Doors has been hosted every two years since the first event 2016, which commemorated the fiftieth anniversary of the National Historic Preservation Act of 1966. Andy Verhoff is the Program Manager for the Ohio History Fund & Outreach in the State Historic Preservation Office of the Ohio History Connection. He manages the Ohio History Fund grant program, the Building Doctor needs assessment program, and Ohio Open Doors. He also assists with the State Historic Preservation Office's annual awards program. During his career, he has also helped community historians plant more than 300 Ohio Historical Markers across the state, consulted with hundreds of local history organizations, and managed the Campus Martius and Ohio River Museums in Marietta.
