Our next Grab-a-Cup is September 2nd beginning at 14:00 NY time.

Topic: Join us for a deep dive into the work-in-progress IIIF 3D specification with the co-chairs of the IIIF 3 D Community Group, Ronald Hayes and Thomas Flynn.

The session will provide a comprehensive overview of the specification, its key features, and the transformative potential it holds for the digital preservation and dissemination of cultural heritage. We will explore how a standardized approach to 3D data can unlock new possibilities for research, education, and public engagement, allowing for seamless integration of 3D content from different institutions into a unified viewing and learning experience. And we want to hear from you! Bring your questions or experiences to the Grab a Cup!

After the IIIF session, we’ll move to Open Mic.
