Hey Everyone,
I'm going to be teaching LIS60651 at Kent State this summer and part of
their final project is to interview a digitization professional. I'm
looking for people who would be willing to be an interviewee. They will be
asking you about your program- what policies and procedures do you have in
place for digitization, what equipment do you use, your staffing model,
about your digital collections online, etc. I'm looking for a wide
variety of institutions- big and small universities and colleges,
historical societies, public libraries and museums.
The assignment is due July 7th so the interview will probably take place
during late June. They will be using the information they learn from you
to write the rest of their final- a CLIR hidden collections grant
application. The collection they write about will come from your
institution or an institution that you work with. The only two
requirements are that you're either in charge of or a decision maker within
your digitization program and that you have your archival finding aids
online.
Our class starts on May 20th so the last day to volunteer is the 19th.

Please feel free to forward this request to anyone who may be interested.
Thank you,
Rachel Senese Myers
