[Ohiodig] Scanning Transparent Documents

Dear All,
I tried scanning one of the pages and there's an unforeseen problem:
there's a reflection from the plastic. This is probably due to the fact it
can't lay completely flat on the platten due to the binding. The text block
(only 14 pages) is apparently bound with staples and then the front and
back cover adhered over the top of that. So, it can't be easily taken apart
by just removing the staples like many other manuals of the time period.
Sincerely,
Noah Stegman Rechtin
