Hello Janet,
Tax time is here and the Ohio History Fund needs your help! It's one of the few grant programs in the state solely for historic preservation and local history projects. Your contribution to the "Ohio History Fund" tax check-off on your state tax return makes grants possible.

  *   Donate to the "Ohio History Fund" on line 26d of your Ohio income tax return<https://ohiohistory.us14.list-manage.com/track/click?u=37ce5c8c24208a588c681edc5&id=e46f313a91&e=baef517f22>. Fill in a dollar amount and your tax-deductible donation will support history projects across the state.
  *   Promote the tax check-off to your family, friends and colleagues. Go to ohiohistory.org/historyfund<https://ohiohistory.us14.list-manage.com/track/click?u=37ce5c8c24208a588c681edc5&id=9272c72ce2&e=baef517f22> for more information.
  *   Act now: the deadline to file income tax returns is April 15. Tax season is the time you can give using your Ohio income tax return. Most of the money the Ohio History Fund uses to make grants comes in between now and April.
Since the Ohio History Fund started in 2012, it's made 122 grants across the state for a total of more than $1.2 million! There's an even greater need. To date, the Ohio History Fund has received 564 grant applications totaling $6.9 million in requests.

The Ohio History Fund's tax check-off brought in more than $121,000 in 2023. We want to exceed this in 2024 and can with your help. The more the Ohio History Fund gets, the more it grants.
