An employee of the Ohio History Connection for 29 years, he has worn many “hats.” In addition to administering grants and coordinating the Building Doctor needs assessment program, he has collaborated with community historians to erect more than 300 Ohio Historical Markers, consulted with hundreds of local history organizations, interpreted Civil War-era life in Ohio Village, and managed two historic sites – the Campus Martius and Ohio River Museums in Marietta. Between stints at the Ohio History Connection, he was a curator at the Ross County Historical Society in Chillicothe. He has an AB in History from Ohio University in Athens and an MA in Public History from Indiana University, Indianapolis. He lives in Columbus and is from the northwest Ohio village of Ottawa.
Jeff Regensburger (he/him/his) is a Library Consultant and Library Services and Technology Act (LSTA) Coordinator in the Library Programs and Development Department of the State Library of Ohio. In that role Jeff administers the LSTA funds made available to libraries in Ohio through the Institute of Museum and Library Services (IMLS) Grants to States program. Prior to his work with the State Library of Ohio, Jeff spent 25 years in public service with Worthington Libraries; first as a reference librarian, then a supervisor, and finally library manager. Throughout his career Jeff has been active in the Ohio library community and has served on the LSTA Advisory Committee, the OPLIN Content Advisory Committee, the Library Leadership Ohio Planning Committee, the ILEAD Ohio Planning Committee and the OLC Intellectual Freedom Committee. Jeff received his bachelor’s degree in fine arts from The Ohio State University and his master’s degree in library science from Kent State University. Jeff has seen 28 of the 37 known paintings by Vermeer.

Katy was the first library professional to be certified as a coach for the Community Heart and Soul strategic planning methodology in 2021. Katy incorporates biomimicry into her space planning consultancy to promote mental health and well-being and has a specialization in archival facility design.
