The SAA  Privacy & Confidentiality (P&C) Section and Oral History Section invite you to a community chat on P&C concerns in oral history collections. Please join us Monday, May 6, 2024 at 2pm EDT for "P&C Issues: Oral History Recordings."

Speakers John Lyles (US Department of Defense), Elissa Stroman (Texas Tech University), and Kopana Terry (University of Kentucky) will share what access and restrictions to oral histories look like in their organizations, including policies, processes, and practices. We will welcome audience questions after the speaker discussion. This event will not be recorded.

Bring your questions, concerns, and other thoughts to this event on how different institutions navigate restrictions and access in their oral history collections. We look forward to seeing you on May 6!
