Share what in descriptive metadata you are doing/would like to do/what you think we should do-any and all of these are valid!

The Ohio Digitization Interest Group is seeking speakers for a panel on various aspects of creating/editing/remediating descriptive metadata for digital objects, to be held in-person at the Ohio State University Thompson Library<https://library.osu.edu/> on Monday, July 17.

Metadata information is our number 1 request for meeting topic!

Examples of potential topics:

  *   Choosing/applying basic controlled vocabularies
  *   Basic Dublin Core how-to
  *   Remediation/reparative description approaches
  *   Lessons learned/case studies

Format: Traditional presentation/lecture or small group discussions, and everything in between are all game. Depending on the number of panelists, speakers would have 10-15 minutes to present/share ideas/engage the group, followed by a joint 15 minutes of Q&A.
