Website updates

  *   New page under Resources: Ohio Grants
     *   Several state entities in Ohio administer grant programs that provide funds to Ohio libraries, archives, and cultural heritage organizations to support collection digitization and online discoverability of digital collections. https://ohiodig.org/resources/ohio-grants

Planning Group Roster updates

  *   We want to thank Kristen Newby, Columbus Metro Library (and previously at Ohio History Connection) as she rotates off, for all her work (2019-2023) in helping bring OhioDIG content to the community. Kristen's work included planning multiple meetings, and most recently cohosting our very first return to in-person meetings in May (with Nicole). She also managed the Meetings page<https://ohiodig.org/meetings> on the website.
  *   Welcome new member Ashely Rodriguez, digital projects coordinator, Ohio History Connection!
  *   See all current and past Planning Group members on the OhioDIG "About" page<https://ohiodig.org/about#planning>.

Ohio PhaseOne Users Group

  *   Over the years, OhioDIG has served as a "parent" to subgroups such as an Ohio Digital Commons group, as meeting space for the Ohio DigiHubs, and other birds of feather groups.
  *   One of these groups is the Ohio PhaseOne Users Group (OhioP1UG).
     *   Thank you to Naomi Langer, formerly of Case Western, our most recent past convener of OhioP1UG. Naomi has the left the area.
     *   The new convener is Erin Wilson (wilsone5 at ohio.edu<mailto:wilsone5 at ohio.edu>), Digital Imaging Specialist & Lab Manager, Ohio University Libraries.
     *   The group has been meeting virtually since 2020. Anyone who is interested in cultural heritage digitization employing image capture by camera is welcome to attend.
     *   The next meeting is Friday July 21 at 11am.
     *   Contact Erin for more info!


OhioDIG<https://ohiodig.org/> was founded for the purpose of building an Ohio community of those with an interest in cultural heritage digitization, description, access, and digital preservation. All are welcome!
