Apply for an Ohio History Fund Grant

Hello Grant Seekers and Ohio History Fund Friends,
The Ohio History Fund grant application is now available at ohiohistory.org/historyfund<https://ohiohistory.us14.list-manage.com/track/click?u=37ce5c8c24208a588c681edc5&id=ba23a730b8&e=baef517f22>. The application deadline is Sept. 12, 2023.

The Ohio History Fund is a competitive matching grants program for history projects. Grants support all kinds of history projects about Ohio and its communities including

  *   Rehabilitation of National Register-listed historic buildings
  *   Museum collection storage initiatives
  *   Educational programs
  *   Digitization of archival materials and historic photographs
  *   Surveys of buildings and archaeological surveys
  *   Exhibit development, including virtual exhibits
  *   Oral history projects
  *   Organizational development, including board training
  *   And more - contact us to discuss your idea!

Eligible applicants include historic preservation groups, local historical societies, museums, public libraries, genealogical societies, university archives and special collections, archaeological societies, county records management offices, "friends" groups and other non-profit and public entities.

Ineligible applicants include for-profit businesses, private individuals and the Ohio History Connection.

The program is supported largely by the funds Ohioans voluntary contribute through the "Ohio History Fund" tax check-off on state income tax returns<https://ohiohistory.us14.list-manage.com/track/click?u=37ce5c8c24208a588c681edc5&id=88074343ad&e=baef517f22>, the purchase of Ohio History "History" license plates<https://ohiohistory.us14.list-manage.com/track/click?u=37ce5c8c24208a588c681edc5&id=ea95170fda&e=baef517f22> and donations to the Ohio History Connection<https://ohiohistory.us14.list-manage.com/track/click?u=37ce5c8c24208a588c681edc5&id=df8ef9e14e&e=baef517f22> designated to the Ohio History Fund.
