The SAA Description Section Steering Committee, the SAA Standards Committee, and the Archives for Black Lives in Philadelphia Anti-Racist Description Working Group are thrilled to announce that SAA Council has endorsed "Archives for Black Lives in Philadelphia: Anti-Racist Description Resources" as an external description standard. With the Description Section's support, the External Standards Working Group collaborated with the A4BLiP Working Group to develop and submit this proposal in 2022, and it was approved by Council in the fall.
