Subject: Holocaust and genocide ed grants

Dear Johnna and Betsy,

I am reaching out to share a grant opportunity for which OLHA and OMA members are eligible, and hope that you might be willing to share it out on your social media and in your membership communications as appropriate.

The Ohio Holocaust and Genocide Memorial and Education Commission has just launched a grant program, in partnership with Ohio Humanities, for Holocaust and genocide education programs and initiatives in Ohio. I have attached our press release with the announcement and the grant guidelines, which are also found on the Commission's website here<https://holocaust.ohio.gov/educational-resources/grant-opportunities/grant-opportunities>. Grant amounts up to $10k will be considered; projects have to be completed between July 1, 2023 and June 30, 2024; and existing as well as new programs are eligible. Applications<https://ohiohumanities.formstack.com/forms/ohgmec_app_2023> are being accepted now with a deadline for submission of May 12. Awards will be announced in early June.
