Systems and Digital Initiatives Librarian

Ohio Northern University is seeking a full-time Systems and Digital Initiatives Librarian for a 12-month tenure track position, who is an innovative, student-focused and collaborative professional who will provide vision and leadership. This position serves as head administrator for the university's integrated library system, Digital Commons repository, and as the web manager for the library's website. The successful candidate will work collaboratively with a wide range of campus constituents and units to support the discoverability of library resources.

Required Skills*

  *   Ability to work independently and meet project deadlines
  *   Self-starter with the ability to work in a team environment
  *   Must have excellent analytical, organizational, and problem solving skills
  *   Excellent interpersonal skills; demonstrated ability to communicate clearly, both orally and in writing
  *   Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with internal and external parties and diverse constituencies, including other staff, cross-departmental/divisional groups, patrons, vendors, and/or library partners
*Entry level librarians and recent library school graduates are encouraged to apply.
