[Ohiodig] OhioDIG future meetings schedule/venue update

The OhioDIG Planning Committee would like to share an update on plans for our glorious future meetings, where we hope you will join us!

OhioDIG will continue our pandemic virtual meetings through July and September 2021.
OhioDIG will permanently move our two winter-time meetings (November & January) to a virtual format.
Our next in-person meeting is tentatively planned for March 2022.
Looking for venues to host us when we resume in-person meetings.


2021-2022 Schedule

  *   July 21, 2021: "Reparative Description" (virtual)
  *   September 2021: "Ohio Digitization Registration Project" (virtual)
  *   November 2021: "Digitization Equipment" (virtual)

  *   March 2022: In-person (Central Ohio)
  *   May 2022: In-person (academic institution)
  *   July 2022: In-person field trip to Toledo. Host: Toledo Lucas County Public Library
  *   September 2022: In-person (Central Ohio)
  *   November 2022: Virtual

General Yearly Schedule (Non-pandemic)

  *   January: Virtual
  *   March: In-person (Central Ohio)
  *   May: In-person (academic institution- past locations have included Bowling Green, Dayton, Granville)
  *   July: In-person field trip (further afield- past locations have included Cleveland, Cincinnati, Kent, and have included offsite tours)
  *   September: In-person (Central Ohio)
  *   November: Virtual
