Hi Everyone,

I am excited to announce our CFP for the November 18, 2020 OhioDig meeting
on *Advocating for Digitization Resources.*

*Theme*: Advocating for Digitization Resources
*Hosts*: Stephanie Becker & Sidney Gao

*Location*: Virtual Meeting via Zoom
*Date & Time*: November 18, 2020; 10:30 AM - 12:00 PM
*Presentation*:Digitization is resource intensive work that often spans
across multiple teams in any given institution. How do you work with your
institutions administration to secure the resources you need to lead
successful digitization projects? How do you manage expectations from your
administrators when they cannot provide you with adequate resources?
OhioDIG is looking for panelists to share successes, setbacks, or words of
wisdom on advocating for digitization resources. Examples of resources are
labor, equipment, physical spaces, etc. Presentations ranging from
full-scale digitization programs to a single targeted project are
encouraged. Panelists would each have approximately 10 - 20 minutes to
present, with a Q&A portion at the conclusion of all presentations.

If you're interested in presenting, please respond to the CFP using this Google
Form <https://forms.gle/AHhZJhJ3HLrqk9Qd8>.
Questions can be directed to Stephanie Becker at sxb891 at case.edu.
