[Ohiodig] Spring Ohio IR Day - Save the Date

The spring 2020 Ohio IR Day will take place 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Friday, May 8th, at the Columbus Metropolitan Library. Please mark your calendar; registration will open in later this month.
Maria Scheid of The Ohio State University Libraries Copyright Services, will give the keynote presentation: "Building a Copyright Review Program". She will discuss how her department performed a pilot rights review project of material, mainly images to select the appropriate rights statement<https://rightsstatements.org/en/> to submit material to the Digital Public Library of America.  Maria serves as the Copyright Services Coordinator and provides information on copyright to faculty, staff, and students of the university engaged in teaching, research, and scholarship. She works with units in the Libraries and across campus, providing resources and support on issues ranging from using materials to author rights. She received her J.D. from The Ohio State University Moritz College of Law.

The day will also include lightning round presentations and birds-of-a-feather discussions.
