I'm happy to share our CFP for the January 12, 2021, OhioDIG meeting on Crowdsourcing in the Time of COVID-19.

Theme: Crowdsourcing in the Time of COVID-19
Hosts: Kristen Newby & Penelope Shumaker
Location: Virtual Meeting via Microsoft Teams
Date & time: Tuesday, January 12th, 10:30am-noon

Agenda:
- 10:30-11:30am: Presentations (45 minutes) and Q&A (15 minutes)
- 11:30-noon: All attendee update

Presentations: COVID-19 has thrown everyone into uncertain and uncharted territory-budget cuts, furloughs and layoffs, limited access to our buildings and collections, and technology barriers (for ourselves and our patrons). Fortunately, cultural heritage professionals are a resilient, innovative group! OhioDIG is looking for 3-4 speakers to share the creative ways your organization has used crowdsourced digital projects as a way for your community to engage with your collections, and each other. Projects may include crowdsourced transcription, tagging, metadata clean-up, and much more. The 45 minutes reserved for presentations will be split among the speakers, with a Q&A after. Proposal submissions will be accepted until end of day Monday, December 21st.
