I'm Looking for suggestions/referrals to finding a resource for accessing information on 5 ¼ floppy disks. A coworker gave me a box of floppy disks from the 1984 through 1992 time period. Most of the contents of the box are the 5 ¼ floppies, but the box also includes two Scotch 3M Audio Recording Tape reels. The coworker inherited the box from a previous staff member who had attempted to find a migration service in the late 1990s/early 2000s. Nothing happened at that time, and 20 years later I received the box. We do not have the capacity or support to set up an internal workstation lab to access the content in-house. So, I'm asking for advice on hiring a reputable company to provide us with services for accessing the data in a digital preservation mindset (i.e. access, migration, and metadata preservation are important). These floppies were part of a larger donation that we received in the late 1990s. They contain seismic data that may have been generated using specialized software, but I don't really know because there is no existing connection to the donor or persons who received the donation. Please provide thoughts on your experience with dealing with accessing data on outdated mediums (like the ones I have or similar).

Thank you,
