The Ohio Local History Alliance and Ohio History Connection are partnering to provide five FREE Digitization 101 workshops around the state over the next few weeks. These will cover a variety of topics, including project planning and management; funding; vendor selection; material selection; copyright; equipment; scanning standards and best practices; metadata standards and best practices; newspaper digitization; storage; hosting and public access; and project evaluation.
